about the course/me

I've been teaching photography for 3 years and have spent the past 7 years as a professional photographer.

My course is designed to teach you what you need to know - fast.

I have trimmed off all the excess fat. I don't teach history, criticism, film photography or darkroom techniques. I only teach you the necessary photography skills for digital photography.

The only way to really learn how to take beautiful photographs is to take lots of photos, make mistakes and to show, share and fix these mistakes. I give you the tools to do this.

Most exercises are done in your own time and then submitted online via facebook. They will then be constructively criticized by me and the other members of the course.

You will receive copious amounts of software, pdf's, documentation and tutorials to study in your own time.

It is vital that you have access to a SLR camera (a camera with variable lens/shutter,aperture/ISO settings and a computer.
